driveshaft and hubs help

are the hubs on a mk1 1.2 the same as on the gte or will i have to swap them when i change the engine over ?????

i think u need to change them cos on some of the engines there is a different amount of splines in the end of driveshaft

HOWEVER i have heard of this when doing valver conversions etc, so sticking to the nova range of engines MAY not cause u problems.

My mk1 has had a 1.6 gte engine/box in it for years on the std 1.2 driveshafts and I have never had any bother.
If you stick 16v 2.0ltr engine/box in, then the shafts need modding
