Anyone here ever driven one? I know rexy had one... Im looking at getting one thats on autotrader for less than a grand. Everyone seems to slate them but imo they dont look that bad, infact i prefer the shape to that of the pug 306.

Ive driven a few on road tests, not too bad to drive, quite a good engine as well. Interior seems a bit cheap but its not the worst.

Think I had one - can never remember if the vts or vtr is the 167 bhp model. It was the 167 one I had, handles ok and wheel spins in the wet upto 4th. I had mine stripped for Knockhill but it only made it on once and the radiator went. It was a V plate and I got it for 300, cat C but it had mot, sold it for 100 about a year later. Not bad cars all in all.

you rang.... Anything you need to know gis a shout matey.

Make sure you get a Phs1 R, S, T, W reg as the wiring changed its a good wiring system still but makes it harder if you plan to throw TB's onto it.

The Phs1 is also lighter and normally cheaper, with cheaper tax. Still a gro 16 insurance mine.

:mad: on a vts, how old are you etc etc?

I hope i get insurance. at the end of the day i have done the online compare the market ones and most will insure me, cheapest was £600 though :(

They are a group 16 insurance, so i doubt a young pup would be able to run one with the insurance costs.

Get a clio 172 for £1500 they are lighter and more fun :D

to be honest, i dont know what to get. :D You get alot of car for 2k these days!

i am 20 live in a village the car in a garage and only doing 10000 a year. the cheapest i have got is like 1300 quid. so it looks like it will be up for sale.
