Hi well i won a white nova sri off ebay yesterday, thought was a steal for £200 went to pick it up tonight got there, looked well worth the money, genuine fella owned it 4 years even had 3/4 of a tank of fuel in it, i thought its to good to be true. anyway give him his money signed it all over starts it up all lovely, put the lights on and off we go 200 meters down the road put indecater on and woosh the thing just wnt up in flames, could not belive it. luckily we all got out ok but left my wallet in glove box the thing went up so fast, fire engine was there within 5, 6 minutes and put it out and managed to retrive my wallet a bit melted but money ok. all in all a horrible expereance. i was insured but dont know if is worth claming. thought i would sare it with you as im in shock a bit and just wanted to tell ppl Thanks Karl

Wow thats something you dont expect, was it shoddy wiring or something has it been bodged and sent on its way by the owner or was it too badly burned to tell?

i honestly think the seller was a genuine guy, he was upset as his kids had been in it only yesterday, the fire crew said it was to bad to see how it started, am truely gutted

how much do u think a sri on a j plate would be worth as i dont want to claim i could end up worse off :(

Meh, for the sake of £200 (less any excesses, which will probably be more than that) you're probably best leaving your NCB intact.

Meh, for the sake of £200 (less any excesses, which will probably be more than that) you're probably best leaving your NCB intact.
