I think it stands for Sports Refined
Many will probably disagree.
If you scroll back this has come up before, I can't remember who won......
Yea SR means Sports Refined
and as far as i know
GSi : Grand Sports Injection
GTE : Grand Touring Edition
i was told that is was these!
GTE – Gran Turismo Einspritzung (Electronic Fuel Injection)
GSi – Group Sport injection
SRi – Sports Refined injection
SR – Sports Refined
SXi and CDX – a name Vauxhall uses to sell standard cars with a few extras

I think he means whats the little code thing for...
That happens sometimes when you copy and paste something...
if you mean the funny '–' its probably becasue you copied and pasted it from somewhere?

Not sporty? You thrash an SR, then try saying that.

Correct me if i am wrong but the standard gear box is a wide ratio box and the SR is a closer ratio box...
This has all been discussed recently in Tech Forum somewhere.

srbwoy, many 1.2's have 5 speeds, it shows that you are the one who knows very little.
Do u think that becase he drives a low powered car he knows fcuk all?

By the way you are also wrong about the 1.2s having a 4 speed box. The five speed was optional on most models. Oh and just incase you were wandering what that light on the keyboard was, it means that the Caps Lock button is on. Turn it off! It's the button on the left that says "Caps Lock" on, strange that aint it.

I did mis-understand, I thought you were talking about the whole car, not it's gearbox.
srbwoy, feel like sharing some more of your wisdom?
