speakers what sizes??

I have a mk2 nova and i want to change the speakers and i know i have two in the back (next to the parcle shelf) and two in the front does any one know what sizes they are and what it the best make to get??

Both are 4", 10cm.

There's a couple of recent threads in here about suitable speaker sizes (as in depth) to fit in the dash

For better sound, go for 6x9 in the rear. But you'll need to fit them in the parcle shelf, would say a wooden (stealth) shaft is a good by too.

Any speakers in the std location will sound underwhelming tbh.

As Benn says, some 6x9's on the back shelf will give the biggest thump per pound.

I bought so JBL speaker from halfords yesterday, they were slightly smaller than the normal size but sound 10x beter, and only 15quid in the sale.

Anyone else want a set? Theres 2 sets left in there i think! Pm me
