What would you say is a reasonable price for a gte engine loom and running gear basically everything for a gte engine to run ? ? ? Ive found one but think the price is over the top especially that the car has 90 k on it

I'd say £100 would be a good price for a known good 1.6. If its had work, the price goes up a bit.

^ as above, i sold out mine for £300 an it hadnt even been run in lol so yes price goes up for modified ones

the one I have spotted is just standard 1.6 8 valve , over here c20xe's would fetch at least 500 quid , im finding it very hard to get one for the new shell :(

Im going to try and bargain the fella down or try and get as much goodies as i can for that money , if you think prices are out rageous in the north have a look on autotrader.ie people wanting 2.5 k for standard 1.2's been a stupid amount of pears sold for silly money .
