Diameter of E30 lights?

I'm going to ask this on a BMW forum or search a bit more but just want to know the diameter of the front lights on a BMW E30...got a plan :thumb:

Ask Razorjack. IIRC he has these in his twin headlight grill...

I've read they could be 5 3/4 inches but not sure, its a bit patchy.

If you want them for Irmscher twin headlights they are 5 3/4" units.
I bought some replacement Cibies for mine from Europa spares

It aint for some Irmscher ones, thinking of making some up, and just wanted to see if I could find a "cheaper" donor rather than buying new Cibies or similar.

They fit in an Irmscher grille, with some work.

Bear in mind the front panel will need a couple of incisions to fit the inner lamps.

Facking good light distribution though. I run HIDs in mine:
