how much is insurance on a 1.5TD nova in NI, because if its cheap i might use the 1.5TD rather than buy a 1ltre or 1.2 nova.

i used compare the market i was just wondering ffs, i heard that diesels where a hell of a lot cheaper to insure, i just wanted to know was this true thats all.

A 1.5TD Nova is group 6 iirc, so based on that should be roughly equivalent to a 1.4 Nova Luxe, but more powerful.

Hughes & Co. (which I think Mr Robinson works for) seem to be good for young drivers.

Failing that try Oakland in Larne, I've been with them for years!

Hughes & co insured me on a 1.2 spi for £940.00 iirc third party fire and theft including mods , i thought that wasnt bad as it was my first car sadly now shes dead :(

na not going happen now, the plan is to get a 1litre or 1.2 and then restore the 1.5TD while i have the 1litre on the road. So then when ive got 1 year NCB get the 1.5TD out on the road
