well todays task was the rear quarters and paint the bonnet.

the bonnet is an epic fail!!! basically the paint didnt cover the blemishes which meant i had to primer it. so tried primering and that reacted:mad: so put that to one side and got on with the quarters

first set up the radio :p

Its Matt paint you're using yeah? Its a right tit for reacting with everything in sight and tends to be pretty thin. It will show up any blemishes and doesnt take a 2nd or 3rd coat too well mate. CHances are you'll need to rub the bonnet right back and give it a real good cleaning before priming it again.

A tip for filling. When you do a 2nd or 3rd skim, allways do the whole thing, dont do it in lil bits.
It makes for more rubbing down but the fill will be better and leveler/smoother.

still dont have a clue mate. the engine bay will be strengthened and modified to take any engine though :d

i cant afford to do evo 3 this year. ill try for next year though :D. evo 3 envolves a fibreglass roof skin and tailgate, sides need abit of work then a full proper bare shell respray
