NL Meet in Sheffield

Right then since everytime a meet is arranged down south people start to complain and ask when there will be a meet organised further North I have decided I will arrange one if enough people would be interested...

The meet would be in Sheffield, as this is near to where I live so nice and easy for me to find a suitable place for it.

If you would be interested let me know and I will get a location sorted and a date. (it will definately be after the MK meet)

I will also try and make sure there is a mcdonalds, pizzahut, burger king or kfc as close to the meeting place as possible... :D

I'd defo be up for it im at Middlesbrough so its not 2 far for me but the only problem is i could only go if it was in june as thats when ill have past ma test but wisewood what date were u thinkin anyway :?:

heh now this is slightly more do-able

i finish uni on the 15th of march - so any time after that is minted

towards the end of march would be preferred cos that way i'll have time to do the engine conversion

I think... and i am not sure but i think skegness is about an hour and a half away locky... not sure, i not been since i was ickle.
Check the aa web site route finder thing if you aint got autoroute or anything on your computer.

I will try and make it the end of March, this way hopefully most people will have been paid by then... Sunday 30th seems like the best option really.

I would definatly come, it would be a bit of a journey though lol. Is there any chance that it could be arranged for the 1st of april as thats when the nova will be insured and taxed from (and also back in one piece), i know its bing a bit arsy over a day or two, but i would really like to take the beast out for the first meet of the year.

To be honest i would be surprised if you did turn up - its a really long way for you to travel aint it really.

Be nice if you could come, the more the merrier and all that... but obviously i aint gonna cry about it if people from so far away don't feel they can come.

Wisewood... i'm neils mate who lives near crystal peaks.... i'll be there but just one thing we should make sure of is that there is not alot of fcuking about anywhere in sheffield coz i'm already on the list in Moss Way Police Station as having suspect rear lights and keep getting ass raped by coppers and as soon a mine is out of the spray shop for the faggots to see they'll be giving us all producers for everything....

But it will be the dogs bollocks if we can set it up... if you need any local help i'm in for helping organise.... we could set people up on places like Aston m1 round about and chesterfield end so people can then get to places with someone who knows the area....

I am in the process of writing out directions from M1 junctions 34 and 35 (34 for north bound travel and 35 for south bound) and working on maps to go along with it.


I should point out that if anyone is found to be messing around etc the local police are none too friendly with modified cars and will pick out anything which looks dodgy, but if you behave yourselves you should be fine.

You only have to get 1 mile from the M1 to the meeting place...
