Mk1 mesh grille! HELP

Hey guys what is the best way to keep a mesh grille attatched to a mk1 nova? Many methods have been tried and they have failed! I have my test on monday and if it doesnt get called off due to the shit weather and i hopefully pass i dont wanna cruise with no grille!
