quite liked this aswell, atlest its got some unique features, black bonnet leather trim etc to make it stand out

try driving round the local breakers yards, allyways, resident car parks, check local fields aswell.

we pick up all the stolen cars in the north west, and we mainly find cars like novas etc parked up or in fields. with it being a modified car they mightve parked it up to look for tracker, so check roudn rough estates as they sometimes park them afew houses down from theirs, so they can keep an eye on it :thumb:

mine old saloon got stolen within 4hrs we had found out where it was but the kid was driving round init the cheeky little b*****d. we was only in a 1.4 16v corsa and that had a 1.6 8v in, we chased him for about half hour but he got away and that nite i got mates landy and found it burnt out at 10pm at night :cry: the little t**t is locked up now just waiting for him to come out :thumb:

go to petrol stations, ask it you cna put up some posters, local chippys, shops, asda's etc, where the little scrotes go, might scare them or someone might recognise it, mabey offer afew quid reward? :thumb:

hi mate i know this has nothing to do with whats happened but did this car used to be painted bright orange at the front and have a chrome show cage?? as i recognize the interior and plate from my old nova. it was re trimmed at transcal in scotland.

no mate it has always been white i shelled it into the shell its in now due to rot. the other shell was always white as well but this shell had a full cage and an xe in but this car didnt as the xe was funked

Its a seperate part you put in between your wheel and boss (aftermarket wheels only obviously) then it just click on and off with two little spring pins:thumb:

Funnily enough i have a nova that to the untrained eye looks just like that (white with black bonnet) though yours looks 50 times better, mines a shed! My nova almost got nicked, fortunatly for me it had an alarm put in there & scared the cnuts off!! only got me 60 notes for a new lock set & spending 10 mins bending the top of the door back in........ find it mate, find it and ruin the dicks knees! Dont give up cos soon as you do you'll see it with different plates on it!! also beware you will need to check for subtle little things you done to it that IE the leather seats & 2 tone GSI bumper as they may have painted the bonnet & grill!!
Also check the for sale ads........ possiblity of a stolen to order :(

Cant steal it if you cant steer it and the bosses are designed to collapse down in the event of an impact so you probably couldnt put a bar through to snap the steering lock as youd probably snap the boss:thumb:

I got the wheel and snap-off boss plus the column boss for £60 from my mate, although i got hugely laughed at by everyone at work the first time i wandered in with my wheel it makes me feel a lot better parking my car anywhere other than works carpark or at home:thumb:

And yes you do have the wheel closer to you but its not too bad tbh, i can still just reach my corsa stalks with the tips of my fingers!

Decent alarm is a must IMO.

And i know most of you wont know, but trackers are cheap these days, one that i will be fitting to my car is £7.50 a month, and if crash the car after a month i just cancel it. Only time will tell if its hard to fit.

And i think its somthing like £100 for install, yes a snap-off steering wheel is cheaper but for people like me who want the standard wheel etc.

well i have had a phone call off the police today and they have been followin up on the info i gave them as regards the location of my wheels and the car they were on. after the car changedowner 3 times in 2 months they managed to find this car and sieze it been to identifie them and i am pickin them up tonight :) :)

he as told me who took the car and as we have no proff that said person took the car as this car has never been found and never will now as it was crushed 2DAYS after the car was stolen and as for the person who stole the car lets just say he will be gettin what he deservers rathers soon. so novaboi_1991 there willbe no more pics of the car will put some up of the wheels tomorrow they need 2 tyres apart from that they are in as good as condition as they were when i last saw them
