Mine are astra spi ones (have the correct connection on them) and have a bit of metal pipe pushed inside the rubber pipe and then 2 jubliee clips. Never leaked.
I'd use some copper (7 or 8mm) tubing from the tank, to as far as possibly close to the fuel rail connectors as poss. Did you get the fuel rail bolt on pipes with the engine?
Just keep the std spi pipes, and fit screw on unions to them with jubilee clips.
Get the unions off a veccy or something in the scrappy.
Thats what i did :)

Jay, go to a breakers & pinch them out of a V6 Omega or vectra. That's what I did. They screw straight onto the fuel rail unions & if you chop them out from under the off-side arch of the donor car, you will have short 'tails' to clamp 8mm injection hose to.

I ordered the Corsa GSi parts from my dealer at over £65 value, but minutes later found the omega ones in a scrappy, pocketed them & cancelled the order. How chuffed!
CG Excatly how mine are, Glad im not the only one to have done them like that..

It sure beats spending out any more than is necessary.
I was quite chuffed when I cancelled the order I put in for the new OE ones.
