hi guy's i am new to the forum and have just purchased a nova saloon equiped with a sri 130 lump running twin 45 dorletto carbs:)

how do i upload the pics by the way i have just tried to and it wont let me (i am using photobucket.com:thumb: )

to be honest mate i havent drove it more than a hundred yards yet as i am not to keen on driving with no insurance (been done for that before lol)
but once i'm insured i will let you know bud

but it pulled like a train in those hundred yards lol

this is the 4th 2.0ltr 8v i have had now (the other three being in 2 corsa gsi's built by myself and a another i done in a 1.2 corsa shell)lol lol lol

i think i might change the gearbox to a f16 though as its currently got a f18 on it ;)

i had the f16wr on most of mine, and it pulled spot on, 4th gear from 25mph all th way to 135mph. whats the plans for it?

well its the first vauxhall i have had with the f18 so i will see what its like lol

and as for my plans... well i just want to sort the front bodywork out on it and maybe do a 5 stud hub conversion so i can put my cav turbo wheels on it and i am currently in the process of making a side exit exhaust system for it mate ;)

get rid of the boot install and get a standard bonnet for it and i'd like it some more.

i was thinking of a nice anthracite for the wheels and i quite like the boot install though (as it was already there i think its a shame to rip it out lol)lol lol lol lol

just got me self a a new choke cable tonite so i will be getting that on asap and also purchased a door popper and got a brand new uprated fuel pump off me mate for a tenna lol (gonna use it as a spare)

gonna be putting the rocker cover on the right way over the weekend too lol:thumb:

also thinking about removing the boot build aswell

the way it is now is the i got it so i am currently just putting little bits and peices right

decided i would pull out the boot install and it took me a good half an hour lol:mad:

also getting the carbs set up and balanced this week then hopefully some polished corsa c sxi alloys (cheap off a mate of mine lol)

haha i've only put them in cos i dont really have any other use for them and its a shame to leave them lying around to get damaged lol

done the full conversion. Very easy. The plates are the same as 4 stud conversion you then just need vectra or cav v6 hubs. I went the vectra route which then require some slight mods for the handbrake cable. Check my build thread for details (its somewhere near the start!)
