auto to manual

from what ive heard in the past, i guess the auto box cant be converted.
is this just simply a case of swapping the gearbox for a manual job ?

Generalising:

Pedal box & central console of course, BUT also flywheel will very likely be different. (comments?)

You would of course keep the donor car for the duration of the project as there will always be some unexpected things to swap over!

Il add to the above, flywheel is different depending on car, holes in body will need to be drilled most likly for the clutch cable.

sorry i didnt type that properly.
i was refering to an auto engine going into a nova, it would have to become manual.

Depends what engine the auto box was attatched to aswell in a lot of cases, as things like camshafts and ECU programs might be different from their manual box counterparts.
