Removing the underlay

Hi,

I have stripped the inside of my nova down the only thing that is left is the underlay in passenger footwells and where the rear seats used to be and the spare wheel space.

I have tried to remove the underlay with a heat gun which is just making a mess and not getting it all of. Can anyone suggest/recommend how to remove this stuff in the best way??

As you are!!!! Heat it up and scrape. Then clean the sticky stuff off woth a solvent of some description.
