2.0l or 1.7 td

Am looking for a cheap vectra with some mot an tax on it around the 600 mark, so i can trailer the nova to p.v. I'd love to drive it down but insurance way to high at mo:mad: . There seem to be a load of 2.0l diesel's knocking about but am under the imprestion the 1.7 td is a better engine than the 2.0. is there much differance between them any thoughs??? :thumb: is a astra big enuff to tow a trailer an car??:confused:

the izuzu diesel is concidered to be a better engine than the vauxhall diesels. an astra would be fine to tow a car aswell
