On saturday 8th Feb a few of us are travelling down to southend, anybody is more than welcome to join us, will be meeting at toddington and south mimms prob. If your interested give us a shout below so i can arrange for us to meet you.

this will be in the evening / night by the way, lol! so dont worry if you work in the day, will meet 7/8 time and head down there! :)

yep shall be there geez!! gonna be a good night, was such a laff last time, meeting at todder's sounds fine....."kingrob" get yaself down there, the more the merrier, and dont worry bout being left behind as we have will in the convoy lol :P !!
might even have a few fezza's to play with 2 lol :) !!
i wish i knew about this a while ago,i was gonna be going to essex to see my dad over that time but then decided i couldnt be arsed,but im thinking about going now,might see ya all up there,Sean

Why do all these meets have to be down south...??
I'm not saying anything about this one in particular. It just seems to be a bit of a trend that's all to have meets down south and my baby is a bit thirsty.
Any chance of having one up North sometime...??
Anyone can arrange meets. Feel free to arrange one in your area. Post up in advance so that people have warning. It could be a good way for you to meet more members and admin. It's how we all started out. It just so happens that "down south" there are quite a few of us in close proximity that know each other and enjoy going to places like Southend.
Give it a go, you'll get full backing from admin.

It's ages since I last went to southend, probably around a year and a half ago!!! So long as I can get a lift with Jim I will be coming down.

sounds good jk hopefully be a few of us then :) "onephatnova" it aint the fact that all the meets are down south, this is just a few of us locals going down s/e 2gether! as Mark said why dont u organise sumthing for u northern'ers!
glad of the interest, i will post details at the beginning of next week, e.g locations meet time, contact details in case of probs etc :)

Right heres the details so far!
Meeting locations:
Toddinton servies southbound J12 M1 meet 19.00 leave 19.15
South Mimms services, these are the services off junction 23 of the M25, meet 19.30 leave 19.45
Brentwood little chef off junction 28 M25, meet 20.15 then on to southend :D

Ick, that was the time. I had driven down to MK to meet a few people and then all the way to southend from there. It was a wicked night, lots of fun driving on the way there and on the way back aswell!! :) Was a bit gutted when MC beat me ont he motorway though! he only had his 1.4 then aswell, it just outpaced my GSi massively!!! :(
it wasn't long after that I introduced my GSi to the motorway slip road fence! :(

Shaping up to be a decent convoy, supposedly have about 8 or 9 cars at the moment :D
btw doubt we're gonna stop at South Mimms now after hearing what happened last week :(
