is the underside plan of a 1.2 nova the same as most other nova models, or do they differ in any way?

ok so, when something says "exhaust for 1.4 or 1.6" it really doesnt matter then?

The mounts are same on all exhaust systems but the actual exhausts are different. Also MK1 ones will exit at an angle and Mk2 will come out straight.

For exhausts they differ in where & how they join. 1.4's & 1.6's have a manifold-downpipe-flexi-cat/middle section then back box but a 1.2 has manifold-flexi-downpipe/cat-middle section-back box as ive seen on most. (im sure someone may correct me)
So there is a difference with the systems although mountings are the same as are the floor :thumb:

The only difference is there is one pressed angle in the steel work, exactly 243mm at a right angle to the left of the 3rd from the front fuel line clip. This was only on genuine 1600 shell's.

1.2 + early 1.3 - Single downpipe, all the way to the centre silencer iirc?
later 1.3, 1.4 and 1.6 - Twin downpipe, stops at the rear engine/gearbox mount.

Also, the joint and angle at the end of the downpipe varies a bit aswell.

Back-boxes fit any engine size, just make sure it's for the right shape (unless it's a loon, longer tailpipe needed).
