Right im looking at what cage to fit into my Nova for competing in sprints/hillclimbs next year.

For people who are running with a cage, which one is it? Pictures would be appreciated too :thumb:

You want something FIA approved I would imagine. So look towards OMP, safety devices & rollcentre to name a few.

Craig - I have been looking at OMP, my mate has just bought a half cage from them and it seems to be quite reasonable for the price (around £200).

iv had an omp one and it was an absolute crap fit compared to the safety devices one iv got now

That was the problem we had with my friends one, it was a terrible fit. We were expecting to have to make some slight adjustments but i ended up having to mess about with it for ages. :roll:

mine was for a corsa, not only did the legs not reach the floor but it just didnt fit together as smoothly as the safety devices one did. and it also felt like it weighed alot more.

yh mate! i wud recomend the cage - nad no hasstle taking it out and fitting it. and i aint seen many with like the T bar roof bit before either!

Mine is a fia omp bolt in item but ive had it welded and taged to the shell and fits fine.

i like omp cages just the door bar - looks like u need take a running jump into it lol! but looks smart fella

Welding it in was an idea i did have for getting around the poor fitting.
