the g/f needs a new one but i heard the price is about 30 odd quid for a cheap(not a vaux one) and was told maybe i was better buying a new drive shaft(think thats what he said )what do you guys think?
not too sure but theres a good motor factors in Greenock not far from the Arnold Clarke vauxhall garage - try there 1st.
I recon ?30 sounds about right (if referring to the actual joint itself) - youre prob best getting a new cv boot aswell (approx ?15)

i looked into this - i wanted a GM part so i thaught if i ask halfords the vaux part will prolly be just a tad more
halfords wanted ?54 for a new one and ?34 for a refurbed one
so i decided "um, f00k that" didnt wanna pay over ?110 for 2CV's i didnt need
i'd assume from that tho that a refurb one from a motorfactors should be cheap
may aswell get a shaft from a scrappy. i got one for ?10 (long side)
so much better than ?30 min lol
