I think youve worked out that there isnt a chip worth fitting ;)

the official works ones were very expensive.
if i recall, the L3.1 jetronic is actually an analogue circuit, so there isn't necessarily a 'chip' in it, the whole circuit needs modifying be someone who is very good at electronics.
