View Full Version : Mk1 dash bits-Ashtray,fusebox cover,heater duct, rear fog switch

As above.
I need the plastic vent duct that goes between the heater matrix housing and the centre vents on a mk1 dash. Fusebox cover, and Ashtray panel thing (see pics down the page)

Some grey rear door cards

And a oil cooler sandwich plate, but it MUST be off a Astra gte 16v/early xe engine, with the flare type fittings and not the banjo fittings....

Also need the fusebox cover, and whatever panel goes below the heater control panel here, ashtray or something? Sorry i know f**k all about mk1 dashes lol

Yeah pretty sure ive got one of them sitting in the garage somewhere i'll have a dig. :thumb:

lol yeah the other bit is the ashtray, when I first got a mk1 I spent ages trying to find the ashtray but couldnt as it blends in too well!

You dont happen to have the bolt that holds it to the oil pump too do you?

Will check the number on epc later :)

yer adam the part number is 90322485 , let me know if its any good.
No results for that number mate, but 90322484 is the cally/cav sandwich plate, with banjo fittings, which isnt the one i need. I assume with the number being close thats the type youve got too.

One i need is part number- 90194141

no im not adam, however..............

i am going to meet john H at some point soon to pick a fuel tank up so....
providing its ok with him i could drop them off and then you can get them that way (somehow lol)

Gaz, do you have any std oil cooler pipes that you can try on them?
The one i need has smaller threads than the later banjo type fittings.

i dont adam i sold the oil cooler and pipes to my mate for his corsa, but i have got the blanking bolts wich fit that sandwich plate. . i cud measure the width of them threads if that wud be of any help to you?

ive got a couple of oil coolers laying around if thats any easier? Im just a bit far from you.

Any pics of them mate?
Ive got two coolers.

One fits the sandwich plate fine, but the pipes are too long so it doesnt fit a nova too well.
The other fits the car perfectly but dont fit my sandwich plate lol

Ad, the cooler you're wanting to use, is it the one i gave you? If it helps it's off a c20ne astra.

It's fooking typical isn't, i binned all the last bits from that scrap c20ne engine when i weighed that astra f in a couple of weeks back, including the oil pump and sandwich plate! They'd been in the shed for 2+ years!

the let one part number is 11961/1
and the diameter of the bolts wich fit are exactly 10mm. :thumb:

That sounds about right!!
Do you have the middle bolt thing that holds it to the oil pump???

adam av just checked the 2 sandwich plates i have and the one i removed from an xe engine wich is the one pictured on the left the diameter of the threads for banjo bolts is exactly 10mm. the larger of the sandwich plates wich came from a let engine has a thread diameter of 12mm, and yer i also have the bolt wich goes thruw the plate and into the block to screw filter on to.

do you still need rear door cards mate as ive got a mint rear set you can have foc and can bring to the national.
I think i have a fuse box cover aswell.
I will dig them out and bring to the national.

the steering collum bits are differant mate aswell as the bit they screw to behind the steering wheel but i think john left that bit on there.
