doesnt look very healthy its still got an engine in and an interior in it but its still as it is in that pic as it sits today

Cat c write off as I was going to buy it but something didn't seem right, guy was dodgy so hpi'd it.

I was leaning more towards any air vents in the chassis that shouldnt be there.

Cat C is uneconomic repair, so you could get it repaired, inspected and apply to DVLA to have it reinstated?

Was written off in 99, pretty bad shunt up the **** by the looks of it. Guy said he had logbook but he can't have.

i no about the rules of cat c's as i had a cat c fraud focus that i fixed up (no been a smart a**e) then saw the light and got a nova or 2 lol
steve : it needs bumpers, wings, arches, tailgate, pair of sills, grill, head lights, doors, rad, fan mirroirs thats all i can rember off the top of my head

i think he can have the logbook as after 2003(i think) thats when they introduced the vic check because people were buyin write offs and ringing them with stolen cars. so if it was written off in 99 the yes he might have the log book

All cat C or D write offs need a vic check before they can go back on the road, its no biggy its just to inspect the repair work has been done to a safe/suitable standard!

cat D's do not need a vic check i no this for definate as a friend of mine owns and runs a bodyshop and he and his workers all have write off cars cat C comercial vehicles also do not need a vic check

Id check up on that one bud as i thought once a behicle was "written off" it definately needed a vic check, my old nova was written off for lock damage and was a cat D and it needed one!

my mate buoght a 407 sw last year cat d didnt need one there works van is a cat c didnt need one, my old boss at a scrapyard buys and sell write offs mainly cat d and never had to have his cat d's vic checked

ive just :google: ed it and no they dont cat C do cat B are brake only and not supposet to go back on the road and cat A are fit for the crusher only hope this helps spudly
