what exhaust for my LET?

hi all, not very clued up on exhausts :tard: ,
just wondering what bore to use?
3" all the way through or reduce it down?
if so reduce it down to what? 2.5 or 2.75?

can get my hands on the parts just not sure what size to make it

Whats the engine spec?

C20LET recently rebuilt with coscast head and 8 new inlet valves
powder coated covers in standard colour
engine rebuild rebored to 86.5mm,
JE low comp pistons,
isuzu oil squirters.
fully balanced crank, rods, pistons, flywheel, cover plate and bottom pulley.
wire rung block
new oil pump
arp conrod bolts
new water pump
timing belt kit
xe inlet cam
Cylinder head refurbished with slight skim,
nissan 200sx pulse separated manifold
T34 turbo
vxr injectors and webber fpr
phase 3.5 chips

Id go for 2.75-3"

the down pipe is 3 inch, so just run 3 inch right through? or reduce it down to 2.75?

3 inch all way through lee, silencer in middle and nice back box. exuasts play big factor in the cars performance, brooklands ford done all work on my cossy and even with the spec it has didnt produce its figures wot were expected until exaust was made up 3.5 on mine now, once that was on engine cud breathe and power figures were spot on.

nothing that carnt be sorted mate, overtightend sump bolt today and cracked my sump on v6 just finally got it removed as after all the hard work i done making the manifold and downpipe had to cut it off to get sump off, . . was nearly crying ha. try get sum time on it tomorow.

my mate ally welded my sump for me, £20 if ya need it fixed ;)

its fooked lee mate cracked right from threads in actual sump then an inch along the sump aswell so its destined for the bin, av got a spare v6 engine so will get the sump from that but cheers and handy to know somebody ally welds if ever need any done i will be in touch.

just bad timing for me right now with the missus goin in for op wednsday and out of action 10-12 weeks and with my yung boy awaiting his op i told you about im bit pushed for time that why im selling my nova and my let engine mate

a will have a drive over and see how your nova is getting on wenever i got a bit spare time lee, and if your mate wants my let engine al do him a good deal on evrything if gets me a deposit al hang onto it for him until he gets paid.
