smoothing rear splitter

Right ive bought the rear splitter off of this car, basically im going to do alot of smoothing to make it how i want it, here is a pic of how it is now -

i want it to look a little bit similar to this, like an extension of the bumper really -

I have read ades thread and i think the easiest way might be to stretch tights over the shole of the splitter and then cover it is resin to get a basic shape then work from there, any other ideas?

are you using the bumper off your car cus ive got a back bumper thats bin smoothed just needs finishing. why dont you borrow some fibreglass from work and do it that way.where did you get the pic of my sr from

Yeah ill probably just use the bumper i have on atm, ill give it a go anyway mate. I searched for your old project threads and found it on there.
