right iv gone back to aq c16xe loom and ecu, ran fine friday, untill today, started it, eml come on, it started hunting for rpm, and there a very bad flat spot when you open the throttle, kinda like a ****ed AFM, checked the codes flashes up 12 (diga mode) no other codes, when i finish code checking the eml goes out untill i 'floor it'
then iv just been out with spud, eml come on ran normal, turned off, turned back on, on eml, pulled away, eml come on, ran normal, got come checked code, code 12, removed bridge earth, started eml went out

just flashed up 68, AFM oh lord lol
when i used to have an xe omega estate, it kept flashing up all sorts of codes, and running crap... it was a loose inlet manifold. check everything else first

fixed lol
My ecu light comes on when I floor it and then goes of when I ease off, I thought it was due to running a cone filter

Mine also hunts for revs but I'd put it down to the automatic choke and cams on mine.

Mmm pass then as mine is always hunting from 500 - 1000rpm even onced warmed up.
Dodgy wiring crimps ftw :p lol
Unplug the idle valve and start it up, see if it still revs all over the place

but would that not flash a code up ?
Yes, but it'll also tell you whether its the idle valve or not...
With it unplugged the ecu cant adjust it, so the idle should be steady if the valve is playing up......
