twin 40 wiring

Right i've got the mini loom off a 1.4sr, do i chop the plug off the original gte loom in the pictures and connect the mini loom wires to it or does that not get used and new wires or is there something else i should be doing?

If you have the 1.4 sr dizzy wiring, it only needs an earth and positive to make it run. The other green wire is for the rev counter, so connect it to the green wire on your gte plug. Everything else is redundant. (i presume your running a mechanical fuel pump?)
