My gsi has metal fuel lines underneath and they have had several patches with fuel hose, i've been offered a set which look like they are plastic off an sri!

did they do plastic lines? can i use these to replace the metal lines under mine?

As far as I can remember carb models had plastic lines and injection had metal. I'd stick to that, the last thing you want is a hose blow all over a hot exhaust etc..

meanwhile, back at the thread, yes, plastic ones are fine... you can buy new pipe in bulk lengths off people who do truck spares, like David Huggetts (I think are in your area. the pipe needs to be suitable for petrol. it is quite cheap.

Or you can go to the DIY and buy a roll of copper pipe for radiators.
