Nova sunroof rant

Bloody GM sunroof is driving me nutts.

I've been floating about in the Nova & I forgot how annoying the squeaking is, The feckin' thing doesnt operate properly either. It only tilts some of the way & won't slide back.

Anyone got a roofskin & welder they want to take next weekend? :mad:

lol I thought this would have been about the usual leaking. There not hard to replace iirc, have fun.

The slightly earlier tilt & slide unit is easier, but the late 90 unit on is a pig. Guess which I have?

Deffo thinking of welding it over. My roof needs a repaint anyway.

I lifted my complete unit out no worries. Granted the windscreen wasnt fitted....lol

Dooo it! Just get a headlining custom made if funds allow or get a pov spec headlining.

And just get a bit of plate for the top side, Niceee

Have you tried pushing the corner of the sunroof whilst turning the lever to get it to slide? lol.

At least you have a tilt & slide. Mine just tilts. And leaks :(
