moving aerial?

ok is it hard to take the aerial from the roof on my nova an place it in the wing?
much work involved?

If you want to do it properly, it'll involve removing the headlining which is a pain.

ah could i just not cut the wire an put new wire in from the aerial in the wing?
an kinda tape off the old aerial wire?

aye wont but i'd fill that an spray to match roof, or i'd fit one of those shark fin thing to take the look away
or any idea's?

nooo dont do it. shark fins look gash. weld a plate in to fill it. means removing the headlining but well worth it, mine looks much smoother without one IMO. dont have an aeriel fitted externally, its under the plastic pillar cover beside my dash. very stealth and still get reasonable reception. when welding the plate on your roof dont do it all in one go or you will warp the surrounding metal (assuming you can weld) just put small spots on at a time, working your way around and giving at least 5 seconds between welds for it to cool.

nah fella, i cant weld at all, never tried but another fella is welding for me at the minute an seems tasty enough at it, i think i just might fill the hole in the wing an leave the aerial were it sits
