You wont gain 'loads' from any chip on an XE. Liklihood is a raised limiter & a couple BHP if its a good chip. The limiter only helps if you have power upto the existing limiter & is still pulling like mad. cams, typically would benefit that kind of tweak.

IME the Courtenay Grp-N chip is quite good.

Sorry, think I mis understood. M-TEC make a chip for a 1600 8v?? Is that what you are saying?

In that case there isnt really anything comparable in the UK. Again it will make little difference tbh. Superchips used to do a chip for Nova 1600's, it made little difference but affected economy, just as useless as there 2.0XE chips which ruined the engines characteristics.
