corsa redtop gear linkage-HELP

ive just fitted a retop with my mate in his corsa and we extended the linkage by 15mm and we are still struggling to get gears. can anybody help?? thanks

well ive held the gear stick over left with the 13mm bolt slack and then held the linkage over on the gearbox to the left, then tightend the 13mm and still cant get gears.

try and lock the box it has a hole at the top of the selector use a drill bit that is a tight fit and see if it makes a difference

yh thats wat i have already done, pull the breather cap out and use a small allen key.... its looks like the gear linkage rod is sitting too close to the starter to me.. this common??

if the linkage is the same as the nova ones, the white u/j block that connects the gearbox turret fork to the linkage needs spinning around 180 degrees to extent the linkage.

what gears can you get if any? what spec was the corsa? pov or gsi?

well i will try turning that white u/j around then.. and its a gsi by the way.

TBH, I've never extended any corsa gear linkage I've converted, I've just bent it forward slightly as it hits the rack.
