Hiya, is there any way i can test my idle control valve?
Im having problems with the car occasionally reving up and down between 1000rpm - 2300rpm after giving it a good blast down the motorway or duel carrige way.... then if i rev the hell out of it to try to stop the revving, it wants to die, and sometimes the engine cuts out... start her again and she's fine... Also if i am to dip the clutch fully at say 60mph in 5th, the revs dont want to drop as they should, and fall very slowly...
Car runs a treat unless you give it beans... and im not sure if my ICV is to blame.
Is there anyone else who has had a similar problem? And is there any way to test my ICV either in or out the car?
C20XE with dizzy, and not running a cat, or lamba sensor.
