You could try getting all the bits yourself.

When I brought a door from a scrappy I asked if he knew of anywhere that did new wings? He phoned around and got me one for ?23.50. I really can't tell it apart from a genuine one.

So going on scrappy prices, ?25-?30 per new wing, ?35ish for the lights, ?30-?40 for the bumper, maybe ?15ish for a Mk2 grill

?130??

i wanted to put a mk2 front end onto a gte, the vauxhall supplier wanted ?90 per wing, forgot how much for the headlamps but i think the grille was ?25 or around!

best off goin to a scrappy, but i think in Max Power somewhere, it advertises for the lot for ?200!

200 lizzies isnt bad for the front wings, headlamps and grille, but would the front bumper be in that deal?

and what about the matching rear bumper, or is that another 150 new?

Look this is what I ( and you lot can do)

Wings ?25 each tops
Headlights ?30 each tops
Grill ?15 tops
Bumper ?40 tops

Thats ?165, and thats as much as you should pay. If you've got an afternoon, get out there and find it all yourself.

exactly, you wil only feel half the enjoyment in buying a bodykit then paying someone to do al the work, but you get full enjoyment doing it all yourself!
