Have a look through that lot...

http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/SearchCmd?storeId=10001&langId=-1&catalogId=10151&categoryId=165469&action=listrefine&constraints=teq%7C%7CType%7C%7CSockets%7C%7Csor%7C %7CPrice%7C%7C0%7C%7Crpp%7C%7C30

You want a ratchet, and a decent range of sockets and spanners the same size range.

teh halfords professional range is brilliant! almost the same warranty as snap-on stuff, but you dont have the premium of the tooling...

alternatively i have a similar set to this (did not cos anywhere near that, but the only one i can find thats similar) it has almost every concievable tool i have needed including some pretty specialist stuff, like e-torx & security tools.

Yes. Impact sockets are black and hardened. Should be some in amongst that lot.

heard standard sockets can shatter?

they can, but you have to give them some hammer, but i would advise getting a set of them as they are not too expensive for medium quality.

what impact driver do you have?

1/2" dewalt

they are cock on! :thumb: i wish i could afford one! :(

if you have enough money, a full, medium size roller cab with almost every concievable tool you will need is around £5-10k from your local snap-on man! you will make his day whn you walk onto his van. hehe.

otherwise halfords professional is really goo. just make sure its the professional range, not the normal stuff.

9 times out of ten you wont see a tool van unless it snap on or mac as they are just plain vans
