Il get some more upto date pics soon, as dont thinkmy image host/site is working and I have made further mods since that thread.
A Shortshifter can be moddifed yes, but wouldnt be as adjustable as a standard one as there is less room to add additional joint positions.

Would it work with a F28?

Depends on what pivot linkage is used on an f28, ive never looked in to it.
i have had a PM asking for one for an f28 and the member has a modded linkage to suit an f28 they wish me to add the rosejoints too. Im sure I could adapt a standard nova linkage to suit if i knew what was required.

ok loggy in that case i just have one off ya . when do you need the cash ?

I need to order the parts in, so cash up front would be ideal as the more I can order in one go the easier it makes it. I am away for a week till the 23rd, so I can make a start on producing them them the following weekend if I have the parts.
Alternatively a £20 deposit would be fine for now and the rest of payment once they are made up.

I understand the f28 linkage mod is to cut out 30mm of the metal between the universal joint ie:

Pic thanks to simps guide here (http://www.pngclub.com/forum/showthread.php?t=98463)
I assume this is the only modded need for f28, in which case it will be an extra £5 to do this mod at the same time.

Thinking of making some of these up as mine works really well.
Would be adjustable for quickshift in both forward/backwards and left/right motions. Also allows for minor adjustment of linkage alignment without the need get under the car and mess around with the nut and knurled shaft.
Would use decent bronze lined rosejoints (but these could be upgraded at cost for teflon lined items, about £10 more)
Price is £50 posted and are made to order,
Would possibly be discount if you exchange your old linkage (just the pivot bit).
how much if i send you 3 old linkage pm me plz

I will probably want one of these down the line mate as I don't have a linkage at all at present!
In respect to modding for F28, it is just that bit that needs shortening. I was thinking tho, is there anyway you could design it so that part of the linkage is adjustable? ie I put it on my f20 now but then upgrade to f28 and adjust it to suit. Not sure how you would do it, but maybe a thought.

I have looked at replaceing the universal joint is on the end of the linkage, the one that needs to be lengthened when using f20 (by flipping it 180degrees), left as is with a small block and shortened for the f28, as there is usualy some play in that however, it cant simply be replaced with a couple of RJs as they cant provide the recipricating movement needed. It needs more thought which I havent had time for.
Something like this is needed:

But they are not cheap!
So in short no, at the moment there is no easy way to make it adjustable!

Ok im back and i've ordered parts to make up a couple of them, as soon as I have some payments/deposits il order more to make up all the required units. Im not taking anymore enquiries other than those already recieved at this time though.
I have some pics too:
Early ones, prior to quickshift adjustment.

Please note that the ones i am making up for sale will use propoer missalighment spacers to allow the full movement needed, rather than the tubing/shaft I used on mine.

Could you not use a universal swivelling joint from a socket set?? You can buy them seperately (didnt look at tweeks' price however)

Pictures of the completed linkages - currently available as a modification to your existing linkage only as I have no standard linkages to modify.
