The transducer from the Digi dash will work as a VSS for the X14XE wont it? Just wire it up as you would an SPi VSS yeah?

Yes, u could just use the std vss, presuming you have it

Its also worth noting the box is a Pluse Speedo as opposed to a cable item, so again, will an SPI VSS work with the Digi Dash?

Yes.

The pulse count will be wrong for the dash surely? There are 2/3 different dash transducers all with differing pulse counts.

Yes but the digi dashs have the little switch on top, they all do the same thing.

The switch is to allow for the two different wheel/tyre combos fitted to the Astra GTE, not to change the pulse count ;)

Has always worked for me, and a couple of my mates have different digi's on spi transducers.

It changes the pulse count on some dashes.
It did on both of mine.
(the speed was reading double until i flicked the switch)

And yeah a SPi vss drives a digidash but the speed wont be 100% accurate, as most digidashes use a 8pulse transducer, and a spi Vss is a 6pulse transducer) so it will be out.
But it still is about as accurate as any nova speedo.... lol
