i was flicking threw previous posts and saw that someone posted claiming to have a 3 litre golf VR6 engine in his nova.

is this possible?

brett rogans nova is a 2.5 litre vr6 on my site......so i dont see why not with enough work

VR6? ie the VW engine?

or a vaux V6 like the C25XE

i thaught that bretts was a vaux engine

the reason to fit a VR6 engine is because they are small for a V6. owing to the fact its a 15degree Vee, meaning its slim and about as long as a regular 4 cylinder.

all the torque and fun noise of a V6 (and a single head easy for TB's) with the size convinence of a 4 cylinder.

very badly iirc

kept munching the front suspension

and there were a numerous sized versions of the VR6 from 2.8 to 3.2 depending on the car it came from

why would anyone want to put a golf vr6 lump in a nova, sleeping with the enemy or what? ive put a2.5 cav lump in my nova and i bet its far easier to do than a vr6 and just as powerful, only took me a week to put it in.

ent they havey engines........? do u need stiffer suspension?

anything can be done.... why not convert it into a 3 door like i did to the one below

yeah ive got photos on corsaweb, pg8 in the nova gallery under toughdragon its a bit different from that now cos ive done more mods
