Anybody used them before?

Ratings seem good for the price. Yes I know they're budget, but I need tyres and I'm not going so far as LickiLicki Condom-o-ramas from China. Plus kwickfit can do me two fitted for £120 lol

For what size tyres? 60 a corner sounds fairly steep to me if they're the usual 195/45/15's

195/60/15

TZ300 are more expensive and few fitters list them.

That explains the price then, hikes up a couple of quid and cuts out a fair few of the usual options... they seem to have a good review on blackcircles though

There a pretty decent tyre with regards to durabilty with regards to performance the pretty kak. I'm an ex-tyre fitter (up til last week) and my missus has them on her civic (y0)!

p.s. get 50 not 60 they will make your car look less like a tractor :)

Had them on my mk3 GSi fans on the SR jack, good tyres I thought. Fronts were nearly dead after 12k and rears about half worn (had been on the front of my astra for 6 months) but they'd had a fair bit of spinning up in anger.

Not fantastic in the wet but they were predictable. Sidewalls are quite big, the 195/50's I had were more like 205's and caught on the front arches! Really want a set for the vectra but can't afford even one at the moment.

make sure the price they quoted inc fitting/valves/balancing etc etc, they like to leave these details out when pricing up tyres

Kwik fit added some obscene amount for that, so going with blackcircles (+club discount :D) which works out cheaper - £125 fitted all in.

Craig, its either 2x 60s or 4x 50s. The former works out cheaper, being two tyres. I'm not buying 45s as the wheels will look lost in the arches, and no I'm not lowering it more as I like ride quality lol

Same problem with the profiles for me jack, currently on 195/65's, but the paper work from the origional dealer says it should have 205/60's fitted, and the rears that are on it have still got about 30k left on them!

Have you looked at Camskill RJ??

I bought four Nankangs (195/50/15) for £120 last year. Fitting and balancing was another tenner from a mate admittedly.

Not the greatest tyre I'll admit but meh.

hmmm I only pay £50 a corner for 195/45/15 Eagle F1's - surely your balloon tyres will be cheaper again?

TBH in the dry they are pretty good for a budget tyre.

The wet they are not so good lol

Jack - I've been into kwik fit and asked if they'll price match with mytyres/black circles etc. They do! I had to get Pirelli p6000s as opposed to Pirelli P6s (which I wanted) but you get the idea.

firestone are from the same plant as bridgestone(sistermake if you like)as are "Fulda" tyre's,goodyear plant etc. i worked in a wharehouse with over 2million tyre's and there are some good tyre's out there, people just need to know what are knocked up in some hongkongsuey plant, and what are from genuin tyre maker's.;) :thumb:

Exactly, hence why I avoid certain brands.

I wouldn't touch a P6000 with a barge pole, although I have one on at the moment. Crappy thing

I think it was the P6000 that tried to pitch me into the hedge on the second, more violent Jackless test drive :)
