Been searching but just started confusing myself, doing 1.6 twin 40, now i have ripped all fuel lines out of car and starting fresh with braided lines.

Now i have 2 tanks, gte tank and a 1.2 carb tank, i was under the impression that the carb tank was needed, but then also thought that with twin 40s there isnt a supply back to the tank (i could be wrong) but then there are 2 outlets on the carb tank in and out im guessing? is there a supply back to tank or do i block one up?

I was going to run a facet pump but im confused, so someone clear this up what i should be doing? cant be that hard im sure lol

1 of the carb tank outlets is probably the breather? Is it right on top of the tank?

hello mate just removed bike carb set up from my nova, i only used one fuel line from tank to carbs, the return on tank was blocked off, you dont need high pressure fuel line for carbs as they only run at low pressure mine ran at 3 psi with facet low pressure pump and fuel pressure regulator. hope that helps and your coil is on way i posted it today.

it is simple mate, to make life even easier you cud just fit a R1 motorbike pump as these run at 3 psi but also hav a built in interuptor pump wich constantly adjusts to the amount of fuel needed in the carbs, thats the way i done the last one for my mate and it ran like a dream on weber 45s. easy to fit aswell 2 wires and fuel in and out and jobs sorted, pick them up cheap on fleabay. worth thinking about.

I've got the R1 pump for my R1 carbs, I'm guessing I wont need the filter king reg... lol

I can still run the gte tank yar? Just block the return in the same way?

yer chris mate, no regulator needed with the R1 pump its a clever pump having that built in interuptor , and yer mine is gsi nova, just use 1 fuel line and block the return off to tank. posted you that bolt today for ya sump.:thumb:

James, dont forget when you mount the pump, get as near to the tank as possible and if you can vertical, dunno why but thats how they work best. Forgot to tell you to block one of the outlets off lol I just used an inch of fuel line and a bolt.
