you are better of fitting engine on its other mounts and jack the engine up carefuly from underneath with the f28 box atached and its mount fitted, then wen you are happy that its sitting nice and level in the cars bay weld the mount there, this way you will know the mounts in the right place.

i havent got and engine and box yet pal am just wanting to get it all welded up and mounts on and painted then sell my curent car to buy engine.
I would really see if you can borrow a f28 from someone else you could have problems. But if you really cant here are a few pics of mine to give you a rough guide

listen to gaz, you really need the engine and box in place, it'll be too easy to weld it in the wrong position otherwise

everyones mounts seem to be slightly different. The couple I've done now I've done as Gaz says.

So how did you do yours. with the engine or just the gearbox? I done mine with the engine and box together. Got the car level first then got the engine level and welded the mount once that was all done. This is how mine sits, is it like yours?

I've actually had to redrill the mount on mine to raise it up slightly as it was too low with the ride height I'm running.

lol
Best way is fitting the engine and trial fitting, different mounts are probably slightly on fitting positions so whats right for one may not be for yours! Worst thing would be not fitting/ lining up
