1.3 sr XE engined in Yellow.

Hi All,

I've decided to sell this Nova as I'm looking for an original MK1 1.3 SR. Most of you will know this Nova, she's recently had an xe, upgraded front discs and discs put on the rear, all by the previous owner - who also sorted the electrics. I'm looking for a standard one and thought about taking all the upgrades off this and making her standard but thought I'd sell on and buy a standard one - I'm also open to a swap of an 1.3 sr.

I've had the car since Jan and I'm the 5th owner, she has 11 months mot and tax until end June - born 13th March 1984. Only issue at mot was brake imbalance which has since been sorted.

I'll also include a snowplough but will come without brackets, tow eye cover or caps for screw heads. Spare front brake set up too, discs, calipers and pads.

The shell is in good nick, all structural areas are fine, the arches have a little paint flake and what I'd suggest is coming to see her as me describing is only my opinion. The interior is good as well, with wear on the drivers seat bolster.

She's in Glasgow and I'm looking for £1950 but like I said also open to a swap for a 1.3 sr in standard form.

I've done 2k on her and it's been a joy, really have a big smile when I take her out - nice quick car that gets lots of thumbs up.

I guess this stayed around for a long time before it sold last time - even then alot of folk were saying it was nice, wish I could have it - that sort of thing but it doesn't seem to draw any actual sale interest.

Any idea why - is it too old, folk into GSI's etc etc.

Hows the inner wing been modified to suit the alternator, cut and boxed, bashed with hammer or front mounted alternator?

It's been bashed out with a hammer. The guys that mot'd it were praising it's condition and also said the conversion was one of the better ones they'd seen.

No longer for sale - I'm going to do the detailing work to get her up to show standard.... oh all my moneys going to go la la la
