imagine changing a wiper motor and finding out that the hole of the strut top has drifted 1" away from inner wing?? i mean the hole thing is fcuk'd
and i thought kwik fit had fcukd my tracking up..lmao
arh well the council are right gits...go down a road in the mornin bout 40-50 and cruise to work... go down the same at the same speed at night and find 2 NEW massive speed bumps!! i heard a bang o yes!!!
aaaaaahhhhhhhh no car !!!!!back on me old pedal machine!
bugger!
gutted to say the least!!!!
its time to move on a nice 1.4 16v corsa swinging my way in the next month or so!!

sorry to hear that mate, try and complain to the council to try and get sum compensation!? :twisted:

kinda similar as to what hapand to my first car - it had just deformed the top mount though.

in doing so it twisted sommat cos the driver door never went back in the hole properley!!!


needless to say youll never do the same thing again.


try claim on the council - money towards a new beast then

I agree ref compensation for council - especially if there were no signs advising of new road markings/changes.

They have to advise you of any major road changes - especially speed bumps - they should be clearly marked otherwise you wont see them till the last minute.

Take a picture of the speedbumps and etc. So you can show that there are/were no signs warning of them.

Then sue the council for compensation. There's loads of rules regarding speedbumps - their location, angle, height and etc.

marc mate on MSN u told us there was signs to say speed humps etc, u didnt mension signs saying road changes ahead etc

like ade says, i asked our next door neighbour - works for birmingham accord (birmingham council) and he said if there ent no signs screw em.

even if there are - LOL rip em down!!!!! - i didnt say that

to clear this all up.....there were signs saying "RAMP" but it looks like some little b*****d kicked em down

now if u saw a sign sayin ramp would u slow down? normally there is a small dip in road .....but nothin major??
all hopes of compensation went the next mornin! i got up to take fotos and they had all been properly covered but still not sign posted properly....so i could still have a case but im not bettin on it!!!

im on to the council already and we'll see what they say!!!

tar alex but i want something that doesnt feel like its going to fall apart and have to worry bout rust! a P plate 1.4 16v corsa sounds pretty new for me......and without rust and pretty fast

I went for a corsa 1.2 sxi 16v, well cheap insurance and don't hang about :D

and still try and get some compo
