Genuine 1991 Nova GSi (now turbocharged) with only 3 former keepers, and a genuine 65,000 miles. Full service history and all old MoT's come with the car.

It has been off the road for 7 years now, but dry stored and in very solid condition. This is a very rare opportunity to purchase a project with loads of potential.

A fortune has been spent on modifying it;

Turbo conversion carried out by Courtenay Sport in 2001, at a cost of £3454 (receipt with the car)
Garrett T25 turbocharger
Front mounted alloy intercooler
AQUAMIST water injection system
Superchipped ECU
PIPER CAMS vernier pulley
Uprated camshaft
MOCAL Remote oil filter
BAILEY MOTORSPORT alloy dump valve
HELIX uprated clutch
Centre exit stainless steel exhaust system
SAMCO SPORT silicone hoses throughout (coolant and turbo)
KONI SPORT top adjustable suspension
All suspension bushes replaced with POWERFLEX polyurethane
Quick shift gear linkage
Courtenay Sport cross-drilled and grooved front brake conversion with Pagid pads
Courtenay Sport rear disc conversion with cross-drilled and grooved discs
Lockwood blue dials
Boost gauge
MOMO Apache steering wheel with Snap-Off quick release boss
Full Cobra interior re-trim, with Cobra Daytona front recliners featuring 'GSi' logo. Rear seats and door trims to match.
De-locked doors
TOAD alarm system
15" Vauxhall alloys
Headlight eyebrows
Single wiper conversion (proper kit)
M3 style mirrors
SEAT Ibiza front and rear splitters
Clear rear lights
Bonnet pins
Gold plated battery terminals

There is an engine problem. The bottom end of the engine needs replacement, but a complete rebuilt 1.6 GSi engine will be supplied with the car;

I can supply the car with standard bits to convert back to original look if required (e.g. mirrors, rear lights, door cards, steering wheel etc.).

The asking price is £1700.

If it doesn't sell I will break it for spares, which would be a shame...........

BTTT - I have more photos available by e-mail for those genuinely interested.

Lots of interest from people wanting parts, but I would rather sell complete.

Price reduced to £1600.

If it doesn't go at this price by the coming weekend, I will start splitting it for parts.

I will consider taking a cheap modified Nova in part-exchange.

Am I really going to have to break this?

I've had loads of people wanting the engine. As I've said to everyone who's asked about it, your best bet is to buy the whole car, take the bits you want, and sell off the rest.

This way you'll end up with the engine at best for free, or at worst owing you a couple of hundred quid.

I don't have the time or the will to split it up right now!

Now breaking for spares, due to underwhelming interest in it as a complete car, and of course the inevitable timewasters.

E-mail me for any parts you want please at;

colinesmith@aol.com

NOTE; I will NOT be splitting the engine up - it goes complete.
