id of fuel pipe

what is th internal diameter of the fuel hose wich goes from the tank to the fuel pump? i would get under the car to check but ive bin off work with a bad back and my companies health and safety officer lives across the road

What model of car? Usually its 8mm ID for injection hose but GTE's & GSi's use a fatter dia hose from the factory which I have struggled to source locally in the past.

Chap in the motor factors laughed & said I had a dragster or something? (no, just a Nova!)
