Got a mate who has just bought a 1.7D Polo MK3.

He's rather excited about it and has some plans to mod it, but his idea of modding is chavved up, poo and will end up looking like its crashed into a ripspeed stand lol .

I wanna show him some rather smahing pics of some very nice Polo's be it euro stylee or modern day modding.

Anyone know of V Dub sites with good polo examples?

Cheers :thumb:

Chavved up V-dubs are awfull. A sure sign of the owner not opening there eyes. VW have kinda led the modifying scene for years now, and they don't tend to jump on the bandwagon of latest trends or fibreglass etc.

Tell him to concentrate on removing bits & dropping it on BBS's. can't go wrong though their BBS obsession makes a Nova on speedlines seem rare.

Agree totally, a good drop, some bbs style wheels, a Kamei (sp) grille, debadged and they look sweet. I'm a fan of the MK5 and MK7 as I have seen some really nice examples of them. My aunt has a 2006 MK7, I so wish she'd let me spend some of her money lol on it, I could make it look uber mint!

You're right mate, MK4 it is, 1997 model IIRC.

I counted back incorrectly. Newest polo is MK8 if im not mistaken again :) (either about to come out or just come out) So counting back properly its MK4
