i want to fit 17" wheels to my nova but what would i have to change and do to do this is it a big job and how much will it cost.
get yer arches rolled firstly.
secondly get the right offset or as close as you can (49mm)
get the most narrow rim you can
if the back is still rubbing you could pull the rear arch's out a little more or you could add a little spacer/shim to the bottom 2 bolts of the rear stub thus putting a slight camber on the hub.
if cars lowered you will need front and rear arch mods (most likely) - usually means rolling/gringing lip and may even need to stretch the arches like Brian says.
Most body shops will do this (arch state depending) for ?60 per arch.

I'm wanting to get 17's and lower mine 60mm!
I know the pros and cons but if I were to get arches rolled and flared as well as have a set of alloys in an ET45-49 offset do you reckon that would do?
Oh what size tyres would be best? Obviously the most narrow wheels! 6 1/2 inch?
Cheers in advance
