my mates got a nova fitted with a nova gsi engine and he had a problem with it and it nackered the valves he has also got a 1.4 single point engine could he use the head off of the 1.4 as a replacement for the 1.6 one cheers

technically, yes

in reality NO

1.6 gte/gsi head or 1.4 Sri head are the only ones to consider

The 1.4 head will put the CR right up!!, and the inlet ports wont match
Not worth doing, just get another 1600 head

not to mention the valves being smaller (except the sri head)
