What should I get for ?300?

I've got ?300 to spend on my beast I want to improve the performance. What should I get? New carb, cam, bored out, full stainless zorst???? Can someone please help?

do the cam mate, then save for a manifold. You'll notice a big difference in performance there.

Blow it all on good head, you will enjoy either type.

For ?300 go for bolt-on mods but forget about stainless zorsts they don't give xtra performance over decent mild steel systems. Best bet if thinking of opening up the engine is to save at least ?750 and go for quality head worx, cam and add good zorst system to make the most of the head.
